How to stretch your work’s Christmas party budget

How to stretch your work’s Christmas party budget

Budget-friendly Christmas party ideas
Posted by: Sveva

It might feel like a long way off, but some bright-eyed early birds are already getting in touch to plan their Christmas parties! We know it can be tricky to plan an event like this when your to-do list is already as long as your arm. With that in mind, we’ve decided to pitch in by curating some of our best festive furniture for hire.

It all starts with one key tip: think carefully about the venue. If you need to stick to a budget, consider using the space at your fingertips and simply overhauling it with thoughtful décor.

Forget a costly venue; transform a spacious part of your office!

We’ve always found Christmas to be a fantastic time for off-site team building events.

Your team members are already merry and bright, meaning they’ll be infinitely more receptive to new ideas, new people, and new ways of working.

If you’re planning an off-site excursion, we can arrange for our little helpers to secretly deliver your party furniture while they’re away from the office.

They’ll leave the office they know and (hopefully) love, and return to the winter wonderland we’ve created together.

With venues getting booked up months in advance, this is one sure fire way to make sure you’re not caught out.

At the same time, you’ll be saving hundreds or even thousands of pounds, which can be redistributed in the form of candy canes, Christmas dinners or a festive cocktail.

Furniture for hire: Our favourite festive pieces

Nothing says ‘winter wonderland’ like a fleet of white Chesterfield sofas and accent chairs. Our ranges looked exquisite at one Moet + Chandon event…

If there was ever a time for some glitzy chandeliers, it’s the festive season. We’ll work with you to create a lighting concept to set the tone for the evening.

Our Louis Chateau range oozes wintry elegance. Scatter some of the armchairs near a chaise longue, and leave a coffee table nearby and you’ve got yourself an elegant space for your colleagues to bond.

The festive look is all about twinkling lights. We love to scatter plenty of our Illuminate Tarnished Metal Star lamps around the venue. Vary them in size to perpetuate the illusion.

Thought leather and industrial metal couldn’t be festive? Think again. With the right staging and lighting, it creates a versatile and inviting atmosphere. The key to this look is adorning it was lots of (safety) candles.

If you’re after something a little plush, recreate a Gatsby-esque cocktail party with some well-selected velvet and velveteen furniture pieces. You can also download our Happy Hour Stylebook to start getting inspired by the cocktail party look.
