Getting married in the winter isn't always the most popular choice but there are loads of great reasons why it is a brilliant idea.
Weather
You may not automatically think of the weather being a positive for a winter wedding, but the unpredictable British weather often ruins summer weddings. With a wedding in the winter you have already planned for the cold and rain so it wont ruin any plans. You might also be lucky enough to get some snow to add a spot of magic to your day.
Save Money
Winter is the quiet season for most wedding suppliers so you will find that often the prices are a bit cheaper then in the summer or that they are easier to negotiate with.
Better Availability
Again the quieter season means that a lot of the venues and suppliers aren't as busy so will be able to fit around your date better. They may also have more time to accommodate any special requests you have.
Cosy and Christmas theme
The winter has a unique feel to it that you can't get at any other time of year, it's the perfect opportunity to have an open fire, candles and even a Christmas tree if its around December.
Social Highlight
Summer is a busy time of year for weddings and often people can feel a bit drained after a few, a winter wedding makes a nice change to peoples social calendar.
