All our different ranges of furniture are inspired by a variety of things, from classic designers, stylish eras to nature and the materials they are made from.
We have some specific pieces influenced by iconic designs; The Ghost chair for example is an iconic piece created by innovative architect and product designer Philippe Starck, the classic style, with its flamboyant design, is created from one single mould of polycarbonate that has become a modern cult classic.
The Tulip table, designed by Eero Saarimen is another simple yet iconic design that creates an elegant, striking piece of furniture.
A lot of our furniture is also inspired by popular pieces and designs from particular eras; the mid-century look for example inspires a number of our sofa’s including The Fifty Nine and Brooklyn Sofas.
The famous Dandelyan bar at the Mondrian Hotel in London also inspired a lot of our looks. The opulent velvet and gold as well as the bright colour pallet are reflected in our Hayworth chair, Nevada tables, and the Ashbury and Manhatten sofa ranges.
The Barcelona Sofa is also a recognisable piece designed by Mies van der Rohes in the late 1920’s and is its curved design and leather upholstered finished is recognised around the world.
