Wedding Furniture Guide

Wedding Furniture Guide
Planning your wedding can be a huge task with a lot to think about, including what furniture you will need to make your special day go smoothly.

From reception seating to evening do lighting there is a lot to consider, so we have put together this handy guide of some of the bits to think about.

Hiring your furniture means you can really get the look you want at your venue. If you need any help or guidance on what furniture you might need for your wedding please give us a call on 0845 459 9875.

Reception seating

Whatever the venue for your wedding you will need to be able to seat everybody for your meal and speeches, it's important to remember that your guest may be seated for a little while for this period, so your chairs have to be comfortable as well as in keeping with your wedding theme. Some of our favourites are the Old School or Industrial chair for a more rustic theme or the Ghost chair works brilliantly in the classic white wedding look.

Dining tables

Depending on the space you have in your venue you can use either round or long tables to seat your guests. You can see our table guide here to work out how many you tables will need for your guest list.

Chill-out seating

Later in the evening it might be a good idea to have some comfortable seating for people to relax in, it's a long day at a wedding and people will appreciate a space to take a break and re-coop. A chill-out area with some sofa's or armchairs are a great way to create this space. We have an amazing sofa collection with something to suit any style.

Drinks tables

If your evening do is in a different venue to the reception you will need to consider tables for people to set drinks on, and they also create brilliant focal points in a large space. Poseur tables or side tables are best used for this and we have a great range for any style. The Grand Illusion Poseur tables look really elegant in a wedding setting and the Nevada Poseur tables are also one of our favorites.

Lighting

Although your venue may come with lighting options it is worth thinking about other options to add to the look and feel of your big day. Our Gold Crystal Chandelier is an elegant addition to any venue, or our Tarnished Metal star or arrow lamps also add a quirky feel.
